CAMDEN, N.J. — April 7, 2015 – South Camden Theatre Company, a nonprofit professional theatre organization located in Camden, New Jersey concludes its 10th season titled “A Season of Faith” with a three week production of KING HEDLEY II opening April 24, 2015 at 8p.m. Written by Pulitzer Prize and Tony winner August Wilson and directed by Connie Norwood KING HEDLEY II is the ninth play in his ten-play Pittsburgh cycle chronicling the a decade-by-decade historic depiction of the African-American experience. Producing Artistic Director Joseph M. Paprzycki states, “South Camden Theatre Company is proud to produce our second August Wilson play on our stage in Waterfront South Theatre. KING HEDLEY II is led by director and SCTC favorite Connie Norwood who is bringing a seasoned and talented cast to enliven the words of our greatest African-American playwright.”
