SYNOPSIS:
Based on a true story, CALENDAR GIRLS is a heartwarming comedy about love, loss, and the boldness it takes to “bare” it all. When Annie’s husband passes away from illness, the women of the Knapeley Women’s Institute band together to raise money for a memorial in his honor. Their plan? To create a fundraising calendar – featuring themselves tastefully posing in the nude! As their daring idea becomes an unexpected sensation, friendships are tested, boundaries are pushed, and the women discover the power of friendship, laughter, and community in the face of loss.
AUDITION PREP:
Auditions will consist of cold reads from script sides provided at the audition.
Please prepare an English accent for your audition.
Please bring a list of ALL conflicts (including ANY tentative ones) from December 2025 through March 2026.

DISCLAIMER NUDITY:
Please be aware that the calendar shoot is the best-known aspect of the Calendar Girls’ story.
It is essential that the audience see nothing that we do not wish them to see in this scene. It will be carefully choreographed with an Intimacy Coordinator, all will be wearing appropriate body garments, and will require a great team effort from all those involved to ensure that each person’s modesty is protected by their fellow actors.
However, if you are uncomfortable about the “act” of appearing nude, please do not audition for the role of Chris, Annie, Cora, Jessie, Celia or Ruth.
We are seeking an ensemble cast of 14 actors (10 Female presenting and 4 Male presenting) for this production.

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will begin the 2nd week of January and continue through to the final tech week before the show opens on March 13th. Participants are required to submit all conflicts at the auditions and, since the bulk of the rehearsal period will be during the winter months when inclement weather is a factor and may necessitate schedule flexibility, continue to update the production team on new conflicts that arise even AFTER the rehearsal calendar has been distributed.

Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Call time for actors is ONE HOUR before the show starts. All performances will be at ActorsNET, 635 N Delmorr Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067
*There are two shows (2pm and 8pm) on Saturday, March 21st.
Cast members are required to participate in the Strike at the end of the last performance on Sunday, March 29th
