Players Club Of Swarthmore “Detroit” Performances March 13, 14 and 15 Cancelled

by David Bradford
In response to the recent government regulations regarding response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Players Club of Swarthmore have released the following statement:

Dear Friends,

As you know from our message posted on Wednesday, we at the Players Club of Swarthmore have been vigilant about monitoring the status of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak and its impact on our community, our state, our country and the world at large.

As such, after much deliberation and consideration we have decided to cancel this weekend’s performances of our Main Stage production of Detroit at PCS.

We continue to weigh other options about the remainder of the run of this show and other upcoming productions at PCS and we may even try to reschedule certain performances at a later date, if logistics allow.

However, things are ever-changing with this pandemic, and they are likely to change even more in the coming weeks. As such, we will continue to monitor everything as closely as we have for the past two weeks and will continue to keep you updated about any and all activities at PCS through all of our communication channels.

If you had a ticket to Detroit this weekend, we will accept all exchanges for a future PCS performance. Call Ovations at 866-811-4111 to make that exchange. If for some reason Ovations is unable to help you, please email me directly at President@PCSTheater.org and I will personally assist you with your exchange request.

Thank you. Be safe, and we will see you again at PCS soon.

Anthony SanFilippo
President, PCS Board of Governors
