AUDITIONS: DISNEY’S FROZEN THE MUSICAL

​Join us in bringing the magic of Arendelle to life! We are seeking a diverse, dynamic, passionate cast of singers, dancers, and actors of all ages and vocal ranges for our upcoming production of Frozen.

Dates: Sunday, September 20 & Wednesday, September 23
Time: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM (Both nights)
Registration: Pre-registration/sign-ups are strongly encouraged to reserve your slot
Walk-ins will be seen as time permits.

Callbacks are Sunday, September 27 by invitation only.
Kids from 6:00pm-7:00pm
Adults 7:00-10:00pm

Children ONLY may submit an initial audition via a video by emailing baronetina14@gmail.com
They must be available to attend in person callbacks.

Vocal Requirements

Prepare a 32-bar audition cut of a song in the style of the show (contemporary musical theater or Disney broadway, please do not sing from the show).

Bring clearly marked sheet music in your key; an accompanist will be provided. No recorded tracks or a cappella auditions, please.

Dance & Movement
All auditionees should arrive prepared to dance.
Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate dance shoes (jazz, ballet, or character shoes preferred). A short combination will be taught in small groups.

Roles Available

Principals:

Elsa: Next in line for the throne, born with ice magic she struggles to control. Poised, guarded, and fiercely protective.
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano (F3 to F5, high belt to Eb 5)
Anna: Elsa’s younger sister. Optimistic, energetic, awkward, and deeply determined to reconnect with her sister. Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano/Belt (A3 to D5)

Kristoff: An eccentric, rugged ice harvester who prefers the company of his reindeer, Sven, over people. Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor (G2 to A4)

Olaf: A magical snowperson created by Elsa. Innocent, delightfully optimistic, and obsessed with summer. Vocal Range: Tenor (F3 to F#4)

Hans: Prince of the Southern Isles. Charming, suave, and attentive on the surface, but secretly scheming to secure a crown. Vocal Range: Tenor (G2 to B4)

Featured & Supported Roles

Sven: Kristoff’s loyal, dog-like reindeer companion. Highly physical movement/puppetry role.
Vocal Range: Non-singing or backing ensemble

Duke of Weselton: A pompous, scheming foreign dignitary driven by greed. Requires physical comedy skills. Vocal Range: Tenor (C3 to F4)

Oaken/The Bishop: The cheerful, oversized owner of Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna. Fantastic comic timing. Vocal Range: Tenor/Baritone (Ab 2 to F#4)

Pabbie & Bulda/Ensemble: The wise, mystical leaders of the Hidden Folk who understand ancient magic and family bonds. Vocal Ranges: Baritone (C3 to F4) / Alto (A3 to Eb 5)

King Agnarr & Queen Iduna/Ensemble: Anna and Elsa’s parents who protect their daughters at all costs, ultimately passing away at sea. Vocal Ranges: Baritone / Mezzo-Soprano

Young Roles:
Young Anna & Young Elsa/Ensemble: Energetic, bright child actors who play the princesses in their early Darchildhood years. Vocal Ranges: Soprano / Mezzo-Soprano (A3 to C# 5)

Ensemble Tracks
We are looking for 12 strong ensemble members or varying vocal types (6 Male Presenting/6 Female Presenting) to fill NUMEROUS featured parts throughout the show like Pabbie and Bulda, The King and Queen, House Keeping Staff, Guards, Featured Soloists and much more!

Youth Ensemble Tracks
We are looking for 4 energetic ensemble children to join the town of Arendelle! A background in dance is a plus!
