Remember the 1991 Hollywood comedy, OSCAR, starring Sylvester Stallone, with an all-star cast including Chazz Palminteri, Peter Riegert, Marisa Tomei, Tim Curry, and Linda Gray?
We’re taking that nostalgic comedy and reimagining it as a 1930s-style live radio broadcast, complete with onstage microphones, larger-than-life characters, rapid-fire dialogue, and plenty of comic mayhem.
When Chicago gangster Angelo “Snaps” Provolone decides to go straight, everyone suddenly wants a piece of the action! Mistaken identities, switched suitcases, unexpected visitors, and one very bad day turn Snaps’ attempt at respectability into a hilarious farce.
We’re looking for actors of all backgrounds and experience levels. No radio experience is necessary!
