This summer, the colorful and imaginative world of Dr. Seuss leaps off the page and onto the stage as Mystic Vision Players proudly presents Seussical, a heartwarming musical adventure for audiences of all ages.
Performances will take place July 24, 25, 30, and 31, and August 1 at 7:00 p.m., with a special matinee on Sunday, July 26 at 3:00 p.m.
Based on the beloved works of Dr. Seuss, Seussical brings together your favorite characters in a story celebrating imagination, friendship, loyalty, and believing in yourself. Under the direction of Asia Jenine and Howard Whitmore, with music direction by David Sherman and choreography by Adam Vincent, MVP’s production has gathered a talented cast of performers from all over NJ bringing the whimsical world of Seuss to vibrant life.
Leading the cast is RJ Clemens as the kind-hearted Horton the Elephant, alongside Alexander Varona making his MVP debut as the energetic and mischievous Cat in the Hat. Newcomer Isabella Lawton stars as the lovable Gertrude McFuzz, Taityanna Carter plays the glamorous Mayzie La Bird, Isabella Garcia moves up from our Children’s Summer Theatre Workshop as the imaginative JoJo, and fan favorite Karen Carratura rounds out the principal cast as the opinionated Sour Kangaroo.
