DATES AND TIMES
Auditions will be held Tuesday, September 8 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, September 12 at 12:00 PM. If you are unable to make auditions and would like to send a video, please submit one via the form below prior to midnight on September 11.

REQUIREMENTS AND COMMITMENTS
Rehearsals will begin very lightly throughout September (1-2 times a week) and will increase once we hit October. Rehearsals will be held on weeknights and weekends, following a schedule provided after the initial read-through. Tech week is mandatory and runs from October 25 to 28. Performances are scheduled for October 29 at 7:30 PM, October 30 at 7:30 PM, October 31 at 7:30 PM and October 31 at Midnight. No performance conflicts will be accepted.
ABOUT THE SHOW
In this cult-classic rock musical, newly engaged sweethearts Brad and Janet find themselves stranded on a dark and stormy night. Seeking help, they stumble into the bizarre mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a seductive scientist preparing to unveil his latest creation: Rocky, the picture-perfect man of his dreams. Their search for a telephone quickly spirals into a night of temptation, rebellion, outrageous characters, and rock-and-roll.
The Rocky Horror Show is loud, campy, sexy, strange, funny, and proudly over-the-top. Performers should be prepared for mature and sexual material, bold physicality, dance and movement, unconventional gender expression, and an energetic, involved audience.
This production embraces everything audiences love about Rocky Horror, from its callbacks and audience participation to its unapologetic weirdness, humor, and sense of freedom. Whether you know every tradition or are experiencing the show for the first time, the goal is to make everyone feel part of the party.
COSTUMING, PERFORMER BOUNDARIES, AND COMFORT
This production will include revealing and suggestive costuming, physical intimacy, and potentially uncomfortable situations. While we do ask that auditionees take this into consideration before auditioning, these elements will also be discussed with the actors involved prior to being implemented, with opportunities for everyone to communicate boundaries, ask questions, and raise concerns throughout the process.
AUDITION & CASTING INFORMATION
Prepare 16-32 bars of a song from The Rocky Horror Show or in a similar style. Please bring a karaoke or instrumental track on a phone or tablet, as no accompanist will be provided. Acapella auditions will not be allowed. Auditionees should dress for a short dance call, and those auditioning for Columbia should be prepared for a short tap combination. Cold readings from the script may also be requested.
The roles of FRANK-N-FURTER and THE NARRATOR are cast. All other roles are open to actors ages 18 and older. Performers of all ethnicities and gender identities are strongly encouraged to audition. Unless specifically noted in the character breakdown, roles are open to gender fluidity and flexible interpretation. If auditioning for a specific role, please familiarize yourself with the songs listed for that character, as you may be asked to sing material from the show.
Those unable to attend in person may submit a video through the audition form. To help keep auditions efficient, please complete the form prior to auditioning.

BRAD MAJORS (20s, male presenting) Clean-cut, naive, and recently engaged. Janet’s boring, conservative fiancé who also loses his inhibitions in the castle.
Range: Tenor/Baritone. Song: Damn It, Janet
JANET WEISS (20s, female presenting) The girl next door… until the castle door opens. A naive, squeaky-clean heroine who undergoes a major awakening.
Range: Mezzo-Soprano. Song: Touch-A Toucha-A Touch Me
RIFF RAFF (20s-50s) The creepy, hunchbacked handyman. He is Frank-N-Furter’s loyal but ultimately rebellious brother from the planet Transylvania.
Range: Tenor. Song: Over at the Frankenstein Place
MAGENTA/ USHERETTE (20s-50s) Riff Raff’s sister and a domestic servant. She is seductive and extraterrestrial.
Range: Alto/Mezzo-Soprano. Song: Science Fiction Double Feature
COLUMBIA (20s-Early 30s) Frank’s groupie. A high-energy, tap-dancing groupie who is deeply devoted to Frank-N-Furter. **Be prepared to tap.**
Range: Mezzo-Soprano. Song: Time Warp
ROCKY (20s-40s) Frank’s physically perfect, artificially created “muscle man” who is naive and sensitive.
Range: Tenor. Song: Sword of Damocles
EDDIE (30s-50s) A rough, rebellious delivery boy and rocker who was formerly Columbia and Frank’s lover.
Range: Baritone. Song: Hot Patootie
DR. EVERETT SCOTT (30s-60s) A prim and proper scientist. A wheelchair-bound rival investigating Eddie’s disappearance.
Range: Baritone. Song: Eddie’s Teddy
PHANTOMS (18+) Seeking 6-8 individuals to play wild, untamed Transylvanians. We are looking for fearless, dynamic performers and dancers. The Rocky Horror Show is bold, playful, and campy – we want our ensemble to embrace that spirit with confidence, authenticity, and joy.
