No experience necessary! On the audition form, you will be able to select which monologues you feel most comfortable reading for auditions and performances. Monologues do not need to be memorized.

SYNOPSIS:
An Obie Award-winning whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, which explores several other topics through the eyes of women with various ages, races, sexualities, and other differences. This groundbreaking play gives voice to a chorus of lusty, outrageous, poignant, and thoroughly human stories, hovering over the question mark into a permanent victory sign. Witty and irreverent, compassionate and wise, this piece gives voice to some of humankind’s deepest fantasies, fears, angers, and pleasures, and calls for a world where all are safe, equal, free, and alive in their bodies.
