Center Stage Theatre is seeking four talented performers for its upcoming production of THE LAST FIVE YEARS, Jason Robert Brown’s powerful and intimate musical that tells the story of a five-year relationship through two unique perspectives. Actors must be 18+.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
Jamie Wellerstein
Male-presenting, 20s–30s, any ethnicity
A talented, ambitious novelist whose career rapidly rises during his marriage. Jamie is charming, witty, passionate, and deeply driven, but his ambition and personal flaws create tension in his relationship. This role requires a strong actor and vocalist with excellent storytelling ability, emotional range, and a contemporary musical theatre voice.
Cathy Hiatt
Female-presenting, 20s–30s, any ethnicity
An aspiring actress navigating the challenges of love, career struggles, and self-discovery. Cathy is funny, vulnerable, intelligent, and fiercely passionate. This role requires a dynamic actor and vocalist capable of delivering both comedic moments and profound emotional honesty with a strong contemporary musical theatre voice.
THE LAST FIVE YEARS explores the joy, heartbreak, and complexity of a relationship through a beautiful and emotionally demanding score. We encourage performers of all backgrounds to audition.
