The PIPPIN Production Team invites you to sign up for auditions.
**Once you sign up, please allow up to 3-5 days for audition materials to be emailed to you.**
Dance video submissions and online audition forms are due Sunday 7/26 by 6pm.

Audition Requirements:
Initial auditions will consist of the following (see below for Theo-specific details):
Dance Submission: Submit your required dance video by 6pm, July 26, 2026.
Vocal: Prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show or from the show itself; please bring your own sheet music.
Reading: Perform a short side based on your selected role.
If you are unable to attend in-person auditions, video submissions are permitted; please see details below.
Role of Theo – Audition & Casting Information: Auditions for the role of Theo will be via video submission only. Please submit a 32-bar vocal selection, a reading of the provided side, and a video of the dance combination. Please see video submission details below.
Note on Casting Minors: If a minor is cast in the role of Theo, a parent or legal guardian will be required to attend all rehearsals and performances due to the nature of the production.
Video submissions: (For Theo and those that cannot attend initial in-person auditions) Please signup below for a video audition slot. You will receive an email with instructions within 3 business days on how to submit your materials.
Callbacks (by invitation only)
Sunday, August 2, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Shannondell Performing Arts Theater, 20000 Shannondell Dr, Audubon, PA
Callbacks will include a dance call followed by vocal and dialogue work.
Please note: If you are called back for a lead role, you must be available for in-person callbacks. In-person dance callbacks are strongly preferred and are the priority. If you have an unavoidable conflict (such as another performance), you may be considered for a video option, but this will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Rehearsals: Begin with our read-through on August 10th, 2026. A tentative rehearsal schedule is available for reference – please note this is subject to change. Not all cast members will be called to every rehearsal until closer to tech week.
Set Load-in / Strike: We are volunteer organization therefore, we require our cast members to assist with our set load in and strike. More information about this will be communicated after casting.
Tech Week: Rehearsals are mandatory and are on November 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5th.
Performances: November 6, 7, 13, 14 @ 7:30 pm & November 8, 15 @ 2:00 pm.
We will not be able to cast any performers who are not available for all performances.

Casting Information:
We welcome individuals of all genders, races, and abilities to audition. You must be available for all tech week rehearsals and performances in order to be cast. The number of conflicts during rehearsals will affect the roles for which you may be considered.
Join us for Stephen Schwartz’s Pippin, a bold and theatrical musical that follows a young prince on his journey to find purpose, meaning, and a little bit of magic along the way. Blending storytelling, dance, and spectacle, Pippin offers exciting opportunities for performers of all experience levels.
