THE BOYS NEXT DOORr, written in the early 1980s by Tom Griffin,
is a comedy-drama in two acts, set in New England, centered around four intellectually disabled men who live together in a small apartment — and Jack, their caring social worker who is on the verge of career burn-out.
The theme of the story is saying goodbye. The humor comes from the many situations in the home where the men and their individual quirks create friction toward each other. Each resident wields a talisman that helps him to feel secure. Join us for a wonderful night of laughs and tears.
