Country Gate Players proudly presents:
THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW
by Christofer Cook
Based on the classic short story by Washington Irving
Welcome to the quiet little village of Sleepy Hollow… where old legends have a way of coming to life. When the superstitious school master, Ichabod Crane, arrives in Sleepy Hollow, he quickly becomes fascinated by the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel – and finds himself in competition with the boisterous Brom Bones. But romance and rivalry soon give way to something far more sinister as Ichabod encounters the terrifying legend that has haunted the valley for generations… The Headless Horseman.
Featuring a cast that combines familiar Country Gate performers with some exciting new faces on our stage, this classic tale is directed by Gina Scurato, whose chilling and macabre theatrical style makes THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW a perfect Halloween treat!
