Aspiring architect Willum Cubbert has often told friends of the debt he owes Rick Steadman, a fellow ex-GI who saved his life. When Rick unexpectedly shows up at Willum’s apartment on the night of his thirty-fourth birthday party, his initial delight soon fades as it becomes apparent that the new visitor is… not quite what he’d expected! How Willum navigates the daunting challenge of what to do with Rick propels the plot into hilarious twists and turns involving girlfriend Tansy, best pal Axel, as well as his client Warnock Waldgrave and family!
