MCT Presents THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (abridged)[revised]

MCT proudly presents their 2019 spring production THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (abridged)[revised], opening on Saturday, May 4. Not a Shakespearian expert? Not to worry, this is the perfect show for you! This play is a hilarious, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s extensive collection of writings. Originally written for a cast of three, MCT’s version is presented by a funny and lively group of nine actors. The ensemble will weave their wacky way though all of Shakespeare’s comedies, tragedies and histories, leaving the audience breathless with laughter.

The ensemble members of THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (abridged)[revised] are: Lucy Fletcher, Ben Hallman, Dave Howell, Norma Kider, Matt Lake, Carlene Lawson, Emma Majewski, Mike Rizzo, and Hannah Smith. Each of the actors play multiple roles in short, humorous vignettes of Shakespeare’s plays. The show is under the direction of Cristy Chory and Kate McShane and produced by Barb Cross. The set designer/lead builder is Steve Montgomery. Hannah Smith is the set painter and decorator. Costume design and execution is by Elisabeth Majewski. Lighting is provided by Emily Cross (designer) and Bill McShane (operator). Mike Addice (designer) and Andrew Hargreaves (operator) are the sound crew for the show. Cassandra Dryburgh serves as tech assistant. Brenda Capwell and Hannah Mathur are the prop directors.

Evening shows are May 4th, 10th and 11th at 7:30 pm and matinee shows are May 5th and 12th at 2:00 pm at the Variety Club Camp Recreation Hall, located at 2950 Potshop Road in Worcester PA 19490. The building is handicap accessible.

Patrons will enjoy a full-length comedic play, banquet style seating, and light snacks and water. BYOB is welcome at this festive and relaxed show format. Tickets are $17 for age 18 and under and senior citizens age 62 and above. Adult tickets (age 19-61) are $20.
