The Road Company warmly welcomes audiences to their production of MARY POPPINS. It is the classic tale of how a family comes together with the help of a magical nanny. The musical includes iconic musical numbers from the Disney film, which is sure to please audiences of all ages.
The rebellious Banks children wish for the perfect nanny, only to have the mysterious Mary Poppins arrive at their doorstep. The family had been at odds for quite some time, and Mary’s arrival forces them all to address the issues between them. Their new nanny introduces them to a new friend along the way, Bert, who is a chimney sweep, who aids their new nanny in teaching the children valuable life lessons.
MARY POPPINS opened on Broadway on November 16, 2006 where it subsequently ran for 2,619 performances. Since then, this irreverent show has been captivating audiences all around the world. The Road Company production of this nostalgic tale is directed by Brian Rivell.
