A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING uses different combinations and arrangements to great effect, ranging from powerful, traditional solos to uniquely imagined trios, quartets, and full ensemble numbers. A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING is constructed as an emotional journey beginning with young infatuation and the awakening of real love, through the touching and funny complexities of commitment and marriage, the joys of parenthood, and finally the power of enduring love.

The show takes nearly 30 Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein songs- classic and lesser known discoveries alike- and blends them together for an evening of music and romance. “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,” “Hello, Young Lovers,” “If I Loved You,” and “Maria” are just a few of the songs from landmark Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals that are featured in this Tony Award–nominated show. It also features gems from State Fair, Cinderella, and Flower Drum Song, as well as from lesser known musicals such as Allegro and Pipe Dream.

The talented cast of regional vocalists and dancers includes Marissa Capuano, of Aston; Michael Casassa, of Drexel Hill; Doris Chan, of Garnet Valley; Colleen Clancy, of Newtown Square; Nick Fox, of Philadelphia; Tom Halley, of Wallingford; Nicole Manning, of Philadelphia; Kara McGee, of Swarthmore; Mimi Meserve, of Philadelphia; Chaz Meyers, of Media; Kate Phillips, of Ardmore, Teddie Psitos, of Wallingford; and Joe Seifrit, of Wallingford. Psitos has assembled a creative team including music direction by Ryan Goulden, choreography by Gina Tomkowich and Maria Byers, sets by Jimmy Psitos and Tanya Sistare, and costumes by Becky Wright. The accompanist is Pete Bretz.
