Something Different for Hallowe’en at T&C

by Patricia Bradford

BUCKINGHAM – For Hallowe’en this year, Town and Country Players is trying something different. “Tales for Nightmares” is an evening of dramatically read short stories. The show will feature a variety of well-known horror stories, including ones by Steven King, Edgar Allen Poe, and Rod Sterling (The Twilight Zone).

Director, Alana Carraccio, wanted to create something a little different for T&C. “I wanted a show that was both entertaining and scary. I’ve chosen some of my favorite horror stories. I think audiences will really enjoy them.”

Co-creator, Jesse Roy, adds, “T&C’s old Barn has a great atmosphere for this type of performance. It will really get people in the mood for Hallowe’en.“

“Tales for Nightmares” runs October 9, 10, 16, 17 at 8:00pm with one matinee performance on Sunday, October 11 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $15 and are available by calling 800-838-3006 or by visiting www.townandcountryplayers.org. The show is not recommended for children under the age of 13 because of coarse language.
