WDL Looking for Season 2018-19 Directors

Hello, all experienced and new theatrical directors:

My name is Ruth K Brown and I am currently serving as VP-Artistic Development at Wilmington Drama League (WDL). I am writing to pique your interest in directing for the 2018-19 season at WDL.

In addition to the Main Stage productions WDL has a long tradition of children’s theatre called CHRYSALIS PLAYERS. Chrysalis is also seeking directors for their 2018-19 season in conjunction with WDL Main Stage schedule.

WDL also has several spots which are reserved for smaller and/or more intimate productions. Using representational sets and small casts, think about WDL if you have a “special project” you wish to share!

Please take a look at the WDL website at www.wilmingtondramaleague.org, click on HOME under the title banner, click on JOIN US and again on DIRECT. There is a lot of information for WDL directors on this page including the process steps, a venue video, sketches and dimensions, and even an initial form to use when you get interested.

Thank you for your consideration of WDL for your next production. If you have any questions or difficulty with the information on the website, please let me know by email to info@wdleague.org.
