Town and Country Players is excited to announce auditions for a family-friendly Holiday Show, and we want YOU to be part of it!
Whether you’re an experienced performer, a young singer discovering your voice, or someone who simply loves the magic of the holiday season, we invite you to audition.
Email Director Caity Logan at novelidea08@gmail.com to schedule an audition.
WHAT TO PREPARE
Please prepare a 16-32 bar cut from a holiday-themed song that you love and could possibly perform in this show.
We are especially interested in performers who enjoy singing a variety of musical styles. Our repertoire will feature music inspired by Broadway and holiday-themed shows, while also leaving room for other selections that capture the spirit of the season.
Some songs not in the Broadway canon we are currently considering to include in this show are:
• “Winter Song” — Sara Bareilles
• “Themes from Elf — Daniel Grassi
• “Once Upon a December” — Anastasia
• “When We’re Together” — Frozen
• ” Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”
• ” What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”
• ” You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch”
We are also open to additional song suggestions, including duets and trios.
The holiday season is celebrated in so many ways, and we want our showcase to reflect that!
We welcome traditional holiday music from all cultures and traditions. If there is a holiday song that is meaningful to you or represents your family’s traditions, we would love to hear it.
MORE THAN SINGING!
Not a singer? We still want you!
We are planning to include skits and theatrical moments throughout the showcase and are looking for performers interested in non-singing roles as well.
There will be opportunities for performers of different ages, talents, and experience levels to contribute to this festive production.
COME SHARE THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT!
We’re looking for performers who bring personality, enthusiasm, creativity, and a love of performing. Whether you want to sing a solo, perform with others, act in a skit, or simply be part of a joyful community production, we encourage you to audition.
All ages. All experience levels. All styles.
Come celebrate the season with Town and Country Players!
