Clock in for big laughs and a little workplace rebellion! A Block Off Broadway Productions presents 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, featuring Dolly Parton’s music and lyrics and a book by Patricia Resnick. Set in the late 1970s, the story follows Violet, Judy, and Doralee—three coworkers who have had enough of their sexist, overbearing boss. When an outrageous chain of events puts them in charge, they seize the chance to transform their office and take control of their lives. Based on the hit 1980 film, this spirited musical reminds us that we are more powerful than the world has allowed us to believe—and even stronger when we stand together.
