AUDITION INFORMATION:
All auditioners are asked to prepare two contrasting 16–32 bar song selections in the style of the show (early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop, Motown, or classic musical theater). Songs from the show are welcome but not required. You will choose one song for the audition. Depending on time you may be asked to sing both. All songs should be memorized and you must provide music for the accompanist, even if singing from the show. Please make sure your music is clearly marked and contained in a three ring binder.
If necessary, call backs will be via invitation on Monday, July 13 from 7-10pm.
Call back materials will be sent with your invitation and may include song and scene selections from the show. You should also be prepared to do cold readings, a dance call, and learn additional musical material from the show.
Production Details:
Rehearsals will be held three times per week starting Monday, July 20 and will be held mostly on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings.
