“Love-Nothing” examines the ideals of faith, hope, and love as foundations for three different coming-out tales: Patrick fights to hold tight to a friend whose affection for him is suddenly conditional; Calvin longs to piece together his wife’s broken heart when his long-hidden secret shakes their marriage; and Abby struggles to hang on to the past while she supports the future of her transgender son.

All proceeds from this show will benefit a local LGBTQ organization.

Auditions at theater in Lionville on:
Monday, October 30, 2017 at 7:00 PM
Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 7:00 PM

You only need to attend one of the above audition sessions in order to be considered. No appointments are necessary. You should plan to spend about 2 hours at the theater for auditions (perhaps a little more or less, depending on turnout).
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

Number of Women: 9, ages late teens-60’s
Number of Men: 6, ages late teens-60’s

Please Note: The director is seeking to assemble a diverse cast of straight and LGBTQ individuals from various age groups and backgrounds. Those who are not interested in auditioning but would like to help with the benefit in some way are encouraged to reach out to the director, as well.

Rehearsals for Love-Nothing will be on Sunday/Monday/ Wednesday schedule in November and a Sunday/Tuesday/ Thursday schedule in December and January. Tech rehearsals will be held on January 14-17. Please bring a list of any conflicts you may have to auditions.

Patricia Bradford holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. She has performed, directed and produced theatre throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Ms. Bradford is founder and Managing Artistic Director of Bare Stage Theatre. Leading STAGE Magazine has become a consuming passion - one which combines her many artistic skills, theatrical contacts and administrative abilities. She is thrilled to be carrying on the vision that was begun by Holley Webster over 30 years ago, and leading STAGE to new levels of success.
