MCT Presents DEAR EDWINA JR

You don’t want to miss MCT’s first ever children’s production this October! DEAR EDWINA JR is sure to make you laugh with songs like “Frankenguest” and “Put it in the Piggy”. This one hour musical is part of The Broadway Junior Collection with music by Zina Goldrich and Book and Lyrics by Marcy Heisler. Dear Edwina Jr. opens on October 6, at The Variety Club Camp, 2950 Potshop Road, Worcester, PA.

Bringing the characters to life are Isabella Yackanicz as Edwina Spoonapple, who gives her neighborhood friends and family advice through singing in a musical show. Edwina’s neighbor Scott Knukle, who is in love with Edwina, is played by Brandon Fredette. Edwina’s friends are played by Ciara Whelan, Scott Harris, Jill Baldassari, Ava DiFiore, Amy Orner, Skylar Ortiz and Kathryn McCabe. Katie Spoonapple, Edwina’s younger sister and math wiz, is played by Mia Ferst. The Vanderplook triplets are played by Jake Taylor, Finn Blanton, and Gus Hovey. Edwin’s musical show also has characters played by Siena Johnson, Julianna Buli, Maribelle Buli, Megan Carney, Safiya Elbaga, Julia Hyden, Eden Lemki and Alexandra Ortiz.

DEAR EDWINA JR is under the direction of Jude Adams assisted by Elizabeth Butler. Sam Frenkel provides choral direction with choreographer Katie McCool. Heather McElhiney and Alisa Ambrose are the show’s producers, set design was provided by Mike Addice and scenic design by Mike Adams. The cast’s costumes were designed by Allison Baron with sound by Emily Cross and lights by Tom Dinnella. Props were also provided by Heather McElhiney.

You can see this performance on October 6 at 7:30pm and October 7 and 8 at 2:00pm. All shows take place at The Variety Club Recreation Hall, 2950 Potshop Road, Worcester, PA. The building is handicap accessible.

Tickets for DEAR EDWINA JR are $10.00 for all ages. Tickets can be purchased on our website through Ticket Leap www.methactoncommunitytheater.org . Tickets can also be purchased at the door prior to each show.
