Open audition: THE MISER, by Molière (trans. David Chambers) … full of hilarious twists and turns, this immortal classic is brought to life in a new, uproarious translation. Directed by Barbara D. Mills. Tue. Aug. 15th from 7:00 pm. In the theater auditorium at 8130 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia (Chestnut Hill) 19118. Needed: 7-8m, 3f ~ [2m – 20s, 3-4m – 30s-60s, 2m – 50s/60s; 2f – 20s, 1f – 30s-50s]. Production dates Nov. 24 – Dec. 10, 2017. No appointments. Auditioners are to sign in between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm – they will be called in the order they sign in. Callback(s) by invitation only. Auditioners are expected to be familiar with the play. Readings will be taken from the script. All roles non-union. Actors will receive stipends at the end of the run. Please bring hard copies of your resume and headshot to the audition. Patricia Bradford holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. She has performed, directed and produced theatre throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Ms. Bradford is founder and Managing Artistic Director of Bare Stage Theatre.
