Ken Ludwig’s farce THE FOX ON THE FAIRWAY staged at BC Footlighters

by Patricia Bradford

A tribute to the tradition of great British farces, Ken Ludwig’s THE FOX ON THE FAIRWAY continues the 79th season at Burlington County Footlighters with performances from January 20 – February 4, 2017.

Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) has delivered another hilarious romp, this time pulling the rug out from under the stuffy denizens of a private country club. The fast-paced comedy – filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and romantic shenanigans – is a charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man’s eternal affair…with golf.

Directed by Maple Shade resident and award-winning BCF veteran Valerie Brothers, with Assistant Director Ken Kimchuk of Philadelphia, the cast includes Dan Brothers of Maple Shade as Binghamton, Elizabeth Deal of Marlton as Pamela, Alan Krier of Maple Shade as Dickie, Kevin Pavon of Runnemede as Justin, Eileen Rackus of Lavenrock, PA as Muriel, and Bailey Shaw of Newtown Square, PA as Louise.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm; and Sundays at 2 pm. The Playhouse is located at 808 Pomona Road in Cinnaminson, NJ. General admission tickets are $20. For reservations or additional information, call 856-829-7144 or visit www.bcfootlighters.com.
