Free Staged Reading at SCTC

by Patricia Bradford

‘Express Tracks’ – A new play written by South Camden Theatre Company’s Producing Artistic Director Joseph M. Paprzycki and directed by Daniel Student Producing Artistic Director – Plays and Players Theatre in Philadelphia.

Play synopsis –

People may or may not be who they claim on a hot, tension filled train ride from Camden, New Jersey to Trenton that digs inside the strangers we see in our everyday lives or on our streets. Would we step over Jesus to get into Church?

This staged reading is FREE and open to the public. Your feedback and comments will help to shape this new play into one that can “take the stage”.

For those of you who are not familiar with staged readings, they are a large part of the development of a new play and we hope to bring many plays to you in this forum. Actors perform the play with minimal rehearsal and read with “script in hand” so it can be heard by the audience, playwright and director for the first time as they receive feedback on the new work.

We invite you to join us for this unique experience as we allow our audience members to engage with theatre in a new way and have a part in the development of a new American play.

Note: This reading contains mature subject matter and language – no children under 14 will be permitted at the show.
